Cabriolet Film Festival is Lebanon’s first outdoor short film festival. It started on the iconic Saint Nicolas Stairs in Gemmayzeh, Beirut, and has grown into a multi-city event. Since its 16th Edition in 2024, themed “The Other,” CFF expanded across Lebanon, bringing cinema to audiences from North to South.

The festival takes place annually over 3 nights in June, with dates announced each year. All screenings are free and open to the public.

CFF is open to filmmakers from around the world. Films must be under 20 minutes, include English subtitles, and can be in any genre or format. Multiple submissions are allowed, but each film must be submitted separately.

Selected films are screened during the festival and may gain additional exposure through CFF’s international partnerships, with opportunities to be showcased abroad.

Beyond screenings, Cabriolet offers workshops, talks, seminars, and cultural activities across all host cities, creating a full festival experience for both audiences and filmmakers.
