DISOBEY
In a world that constantly tells you how to think, act, and fit in, Disobey is about doing the opposite. It’s about questioning what’s “normal,” pushing back when something doesn’t sit right, and choosing your own path—even when it’s the harder one.
Disobedience isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s quiet. Sometimes it’s personal.
But it always comes from a place of truth.
With this theme, we invited filmmakers from around the world to explore what it means to resist: to challenge authority, break expectations, and refuse to compromise what matters.
These are stories of people who don’t follow the script. Who push boundaries.
Who choose authenticity over approval.
Some stories are bold. Others are subtle.
Some confront. Others simply exist as acts of quietrebellion.
All of them remind us that disobedience can be a form of freedom.
So this year, we celebrate the voices that don’t fit in—and never tried to.
Screening Program
Step into a world of stories told through short film.
This year’s edition brings together voices and styles from around the globe—animation, comedy, drama, documentary, and everything in between.
Some will make you laugh, some will stay with you, and some might catch you off guard. That’s kind of the point.
Workshops & Activities
Beyond the screenings, this year’s edition expands into a full program of workshops, talks, and cultural activities across all host cities.
From acting workshops to cinema seminars, from hikes to musical nights, it’s a space to learn, exchange, and be part of the process—not just watch it.
